Ocean Bay Park

One of the most relaxed of the Fire Island communities, Ocean Bay Park, a laid back community located directly East of Seaview, with a mix of family and singles. There is bay-front dining at two of the 3 restaurants. The hotel just steps from the Ocean has dining and also a pool. The Fire department sponsors the July 4th BBQ and many other events. With a  mix of large homes, and smaller classic beach houses, there is something for everyone.

In 1937 the Flynn family opened up a casino and restaurant.  Saturday night “Happy Hour” at Flynns is legendary and draws hundreds from the mainland and beyond.  Flynn’s provides a 50 Boat Marina.  There is also a  grocery store, two pizza places, and 2 hotels, the Fire Island Hotel, and the Seashore Condo Motel. Enough amenities to keep a NY weekender happy.
